Sweet & Smoky Dry Rub

This is my favorite dry rub to throw together for pork or chicken. It's perfect on ribs and makes a great gift, too!

Prep Time 5 minutes


  • ½ cup Brown sugar
  • 1 T. Kosher salt
  • 1 tsp. Black pepper
  • 2 T. Smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp. Chili powder
  • 1 tsp. Onion powder
  • 1 tsp. Garlic powder


  1. Mix all ingredients together and store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. 

  2. When you're ready to use it, sprinkle liberally all over the surface of the meat, pat or rub it on gently, and proceed with cooking.
